Our experience was amazing! This was an experience that I have always dreamed about. The guides for the excursions were the best. They were so knowledgeable and friendly. I will never forget all the beautiful sounds that you wake up to in the rainforest. The lodge was very eco friendly and the rooms were very clean. The rooms only have three walls so it is normal to find an insect here and there. I will definitely be returning.
It is a family run business ,they helped us in everything we asked for with a smile on there face .Their home cooked meals were delicious, beautiful property they showed us around . They even let my 2 boys fish their pond and provided bait . It was a great experience ,and for the money you can't beat it.
I was looking for an amazing Amazon jungle experience and TRC did not disappoint. You cannot get to the hotel in one day, but must stay overnight at another lodge on the way. The amenities in the first lodge are incredible. There is a definite step down in luxury when arriving at the TRC lodge, but it is mind boggling how they can maintain such a comfortable hotelito and accomodations so far removed from civilization.
