The hotel was amazing. I am not sure why the bad reviews, but I really enjoyed my time there. The only "con" was that there is no easy pathway to walk to the main town of Mykonos. While it is a 20 minute walk technically, there is one road with no sidewalk and many turns and speedy drivers so you either risk your life walking down or you use the bus or take a taxi. Rooms were nice and clean. There was hot water. Room was spacious. Would recommend and stay there again.

When my wife and I first arrived, I didn’t have cash to pay the driver. The young lady at the front desk fronted me the cash and allowed me to pay it back later. Maki’s place has excellent location. I loved this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The hotel is very clean and well-kept, and quiet. It’s a 10-minute walk from town. The view from the hotel is amazing. It’s on a hill but, if it wasn’t, you wouldn’t have the gorgeous views of the bay and town. It’s totally worth the walk up the hill to stay at this beautiful little hotel.
