"Lovely spot, nice food in restaurant & breakfasts. Staff very helpful needed an extension lead, no problem , was in my room by the time Beautiful grounds too. Only thing that spoiled it was a drunk US woman guest, on arriving back from somewhere, shouting at the top of her voice and certainly old enough to know better. Woke the other guests up at 4am !!!! Let rip, how selfish and inconsiderate they were acting (her husband was apologetic) like that. Couldn’t get back to sleep so enjoyed the dawn course."

"Very helpful staff checking in is quick and easy, next time I’d ask for rooms further away from the entrance doors from the hotel into the bedrooms mainly because guests seem to say they’re goodbyes there and can be a little loud this doesn’t reflect poorly with the hotel people like not having to walk down to the end of the corridor, personally I prefer end rooms as they are much quieter, good food in the bar and plenty of staff on breakfast was a bit disappointing not a lot of selection from the continental breakfast but the staff will get you what you want from the cooked breakfast menu, overall a nice stay"

"The hotel is dated and pretty tired in places. The room was fine, just old fashioned. The shower was fairly terrible! Breakfast was great though and jacuzzi and gym facilities were good. You do have to wear a swimming hat to use the pool; they have hats available to use but a borrowed hat seems quite unhygienic so only jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were available to us. For a one night stay it was fine and functional."
