Great property in Kathmandu, but better than that were all the staff! Front desk staff Amir and Shristy were truly amazing and helpful and kind. Hospitality at this hotel was way above standard in my humble opinion. The rooftop pool was great and somewhat private, although just a bit on the cool side. Enjoyed the variety in the breakfast buffet as well. A very hearty "dhanyabad" to Mercure Kathmandu!

Very good location just a few minutes walk into Thamel, with all the shops and cafes etc. 25 minute walk down to Durbar Square which is an experience in itself. The small hotel but offers all you need. It is fairly new and has a nice terrace and restaurant bar downstairs. Reception is very friendly and keen to see you are happy. A lift services several floors. The bedrooms are very nice. The best of all is the roof top terrace with a small swimming pool and wonderful all round views including...

The hotel was super friendly and helpful and the location couldn't have been better, especially for a single foreign lady. I felt completely safe all the time and really enjoyed the neighborhood. The only negative is that the fans aren't connected to the generator so sometimes in the middle of the day the room was a little warm, though this wouldn't be a problem most of the year since it's not usually hot!
