Very clean, well maintained property. Personalized service from a very friendly staff. Steps from the beach, cafes close by. Taxi service was readily available for Zicatela Beach and La Punta locations. Air conditioned bedrooms upstairs with a nice, private plunge pool. We received a very helpful list of recommended local restaurants and establishments. The manager was quick to respond via WhatsApp if we needed anything. We enjoyed our stay here!

The breakfast here was by far the best in Puerto Escondido—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect start to each day. The staff is friendly and makes everything feel effortless, from check-in to local tips. It’s a hidden gem for anyone wanting a chill getaway with easy beach access.

The staff & ownership of Casa Joseph clearly put a lot of thought, energy, and care into this hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here - the food was absolutely delicious (and generally reasonably priced), especially the breakfast.
