Beautiful tropical paradise, beach is white sand with turquoise water. Remote, hidden hotel, with a small restaurant, and it is surrounded by palm trees. You definitely need a car to get there because it is about 1hr 15 mins from Merida. Hotel is clean and staff very friendly.

Overall it was a very comfortable stay in my basic room. The property manager was very attentive and prompt with any inquiries and/ or needs. The cleaning staff were also very courteous. The house had a nice easy feel to it and it was located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Perhaps, it was the time of year (holidays) that most residents could have been away as the streets around the area were a bit deserted and dark at night for walking alone. Several different shops and food were walking...
Great shape for a colonial style building. It sais 1925 on the entrance so maybe thats Victorian era. Very friendly and attentive staff that speak good English. High ceilings which we loved. 5 minute walk to the malecon. Quiet and private pool area. Will be stayin here again.
Truly a 5 star experience. I was blown away by how clean and modern the property was. The staff was very friendly and efficient and they provide FREE purified water, which is like handing out free gold in a lot of Mexico. Wish I had time to stay more nights, it was genuinely better than my twice-the-price resort in Cancún
The hotel is in a perfect main location, walking distance from stores and restaurants. The hotel itself is comfortable, clean and with a convenient restaurant on the main lobby.
Not a fancy hotel but the room was immaculate and well equipped. Cannot beat the location. Right on the male on. Most rooms (ones with balconies) have an ocean view. Courteous and efficient staff. Will definitely recommend and return next time I visit Progreso.

Great resort, the room was recently renovated. Restaurant was varied and really good, drinks also very nice, staff was friendly, the pool was beautiful and clean, the beach was small but enjoyable, the show was also fun. Only downside was the lack of wifi in the room
Beautiful, well decorated room with high ceilings!! A huge window that leads out to a private balcony with small table and chairs. Room was on the 2nd floor. The bed was super comfortable and had handcrafted pillow cases and runners. The bathroom had high ceilings, beautiful lighting and best smelling lotion. Rain shower with a sweet smelling conditioner I fell in love with. Front desk people were super friendly and helpful. There is someone at the desk 24/7. Love pool and hammocks. Walking...
The Hotel Haciendo was our perfect oasis from the heat and pace of spending the day exploring Merida. The service was truly impeccable, and having breakfast available every morning was a great and delicious way to start the day. We would absolutely stay here again!
