"The room was very nice and were clean. Bronco the manager was good about responding to text/emails. The location was good. On the hotel advertisement there should be a comment regarding " no elevator, steps only to upper rooms."

"Okay, so this hotel probably hasn't been updated since the 1980s. It reminds me of some places I stayed in St Petersburg in the early post-Soviet years. The halls smell very strongly of cigarettes (but my room did not). Okay, so they reuse the same key card for each room, and they even reuse the same little laminated folder to keep them in…the one I had was heavily used. But we talk all the time about being “green” and conserving, while we throw away massive amounts of stuff every day, just in order to be Instagram perfect and “up-to-date.” Why? There's nothing wrong with real old-fashioned conservation by reusing things until they are worn out. Waste not, want not. This hotel was conveniently located, in a safe neighborhood, at a far better price than most. The room was clean (and huge!), the bed was comfortable (excellent pillows!), there was free parking and a generous buffet breakfast was included. These things all meet and exceed my needs. Thank you, Hotel Millennium. Let others who feel like they need someplace Instagram-worthy spend three times as much elsewhere. I would gladly stay here again."
