"Thoroughly enjoyable stay at The Dovey especially as chose a sea facing room. Spacious, well stocked room and friendly staff. I can't comment on breakfast as we slept too well so didn't get up in time 😀 Easy parking in the public car park nearby."

"The only thing that was disappointing was that they did not have bar food like steak, bugars etc but i guess a very exclusive place would only provide upmarket food. Was informed in the morning that there is a pub five minutes walk where we could of injoyed this kind of food. Apart from that it was an excellent place to stay. The selection of alcoholic drinks were great. Staff were very friendly and attentive especially the young barman/waiter. Everyone were full of smiles and welcoming. It really is a beautiful place with lots of history"
