The location was beautiful. Amazing scenic views in every direction with Volterra on the hill in the distance! The villa was perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved to cool off in the pool after a day of sightseeing and the owners were helpful with any questions we had. Truly a perfect Tuscan getaway!

Getting here was a bit tricky, as the map we were given in the welcome email was of bad quality, so it didn't take us to the correct place right away, but we figured it out, very minor. Fantastic stay at the Fattoria San Donato. The property is located in the midst of nature, very easy to reach, with lots of parking. The facilities are well maintained. The beds are comfortable and the setting in the Tuscan countryside is wonderful. Very peaceful and serine. The pool is clean and refreshing. The location is perfect, being just far enough away from the daily crowds in the town of San Gimignano, but close enough to visit before 10 AM and after dusk.

Unexpected treasure. 20 minute walk from San Gimignano. Service is 1st class. Had to move rooms because of a last minute change and hotel staff stored and moved luggage and drove car and loaded luggage from room. Staff gave great recommendations on wineries.
