Property was clean and room were spacious enough

This hotel is 650 years old and the owner is happy to share quite a bit of history about it. Breakfast was excellent. Just know that the kitchen closes at 9:30 AM. We had room one which was the oldest room in the hotel and had an incredible bathtub.

Brilliant- clean, updated, everything worked, and the staff were excellent.

Lovely old pub with character. Great full English breakfast and very friendly staff. There is street parking available but would recommend the parking behind the church opposite. It's only a couple of quid for all day. Make sure that you try out the selection of ales and ciders available at the bar.

I stayed at the Farthings Hotel for 7 nights and found it a delightful spot located in the small village of Hatch Beauchamp, Somerset. I chose to have all my dinner meals at the Farthings restaurant despite the many other local options. The chef offered fresh fish (bream, sole, hake and salmon) cooked to perfection during my stay and could not resist having bream two nights in a row! Amazing staff, and the best cooked to order breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. Lots of attention to detail here which is becoming increasingly hard to find. We absolutely loved this place.

The Hornsbury Mill is a very charming hotel, set in beautiful grounds with a little lake. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the bed comfortable. I had the full English (vegan) breakfast and it was very tasty. The one complaint I had was that when the very charming old mill wheel is on and turning (which they switch off at 8pm), the noise made a constant thud in my room and bothered me a little. I assume it won’t be too much of a bother though to most people, who would be in bed well...

Wonderful stay! My wife and I, from San Francisco, in company with a cousin from Oceanside, California stayed here about three years ago while visiting my Brother, who lives here. I’m here this week to help him celebrate his birthday. It was a surprise for him so I planned to stay in the hotel for three days, not knowing if I would be able to stay at his house or not. Beautiful!

Lovely stop on the way to Cornwall. Gorgeously comfortable bed and linen. We arrived exhausted from a long transatlantic flight with 2 cats and the owner was so kind to us. She saved our bacon as we honestly could not have driven further! Superb breakfast and we will definitely return 💜
