This place is a gem. Highly recommend the breakfast which is fresh and includes home baked goods, poached eggs, cheese and mortadella, fresh yogurt with toppings and juices. We went on Salt Flat excursion with Ricardo which can only be accessed through a registered guide. There were tons of flamingos and other water birds. Comacchio is a bird watcher/photographers paradise and Ricardo’s background as a naturalist and photographer will amp up your experience. Lovely place and people.

Canneviè is a wonderful oasis in the Po Delta. Delightful hosts, great breakfasts, and a wonderful reprieve after seven days in large Italian cities. Our only problem, and not the hotel's fault at all, was being there at the beginning of March which was about three weeks before restaurants, wineries,and beach-side businesses opened for the season. Likewise, the nature trail that starts at the hotel was closed for repair. It's not far from Comacchio and lagoons. Highly recommended.

This was a great place and close to the port where we got the cruise. The staff was excellent and made it seem like am home. They had it already when we can for check in.

This place was great. The room was very clean and well stocked with beverages. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was better than expected.

The Alberto Risto d'Italia was perfect for our first stay in the Po Delta region! The servers in the restaurant, the hotel keepers, and all service people were absolutely wonderful! They welcomed us, took very good care of us, and fed us amply!
