Via bus to Portovenere and 10 mins back to La Spitz . Highly recommend. There are spiral stairs tho - so if you are not good with those - maybe give it a miss.
We stayed for three nights at the Hotel Florida Lerici. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located directly across from the beach and is about ten minute walk from San Terenzo and Lerici. I would stay here again.

Andrea was amazing and took such care to get us settled and get the best deal on our trek/train passes. The hotel is easy to walk to from the train and situated at the top of the main street- perfect location!
Highly recommend Pensione Sorriso for a stay in Vernazza. Evelyn was a wonderful host and went beyond expectations in helping us enjoy our stay. The hotel has a bright breakfast area/lobby and a nice patio/garden to enjoy. We stayed in a room with a private bath and balcony. Although no sea view from the rooms, there is one from the patio and the sea is only a two or three minute walk from the hotel.
Due to medical reasons I was not able to navigate the premise. Angela and staff were amazing in helping my wife and I to cope as well as find suitable accommodations for the remainder of our stay. Would highly recommend to everyone.
Lots to do within walking distance. From restaurants to the marina with all the beautiful boats. We enjoyed great food and wine during our stay and took the ferry to Montarro and Monterosso for the day. Took the train back. Cinque Terre is easily reachable for day trips from this location.
Extremely comfy beds and pillows, cold a/c, big shower, staff very friendly, luggage storage, beach towel & shower available on checkout day after going to beach! Short 5 min walk from train station and 2 min walk to beach. Would recommend.

We stayed with 3 adults in one room. It was spacious and comfortable, pleasingly furnished and quiet considering it is right above the train station. There is no elevator and if you are traveling with heavy suit cases you have to lug them to the second floor. But that was the only draw back. We arrived by train from Florence( make sure you get off at La Spazia Centrale and not a station before also named La Spazia, but is a suburb) and were able to continue on to Cinque Terre within the hour. Lovely place set in the mountain away from the noise of Cinqueterra. Michael and his wife and their staff were just awesome. Their restaurant was fabulous and an amazing breakfast was included. We had a first floor room so no steps yay! Michael made a great fire in the pit each night . A beautiful courtyard to enjoy drinks by the fire.
