Hotels in Balata di Modica

If you are going to visit Ragusa (and you should), this is absolutely the best place to stay. There is no beating the view and their "secret staircase" saved us many extra steps when walking to the Ibla, which we did numerous times. We had a car with us and found it easy to drive to the hotel and find parking. The gentleman running the place was great. He helped us with recommendations and served us a lovely breakfast every morning. A note about Ragusa, the Ibla are is what you come for, but...

Nice view, lots of up and down hill in Ragusa. No restaurants close by. Great help in recommending places to see and eat. Made us a tasty home made cake for breakfast

The B&B is lovely. You are inside the side of the mountain. The host was very clear in her messages and helpful with instructions how to get into the B&B . She told us to use google map to get from the parking lot to the B&B . But , It sent us by way of steep multitude of steps . Very very difficult with luggage . The person told us a better way back with luggage to the car, there will still steps but mostly road . Breakfast was excellent and the person arranging it was delightful to talk to...

Great room overlooking the stream and with a super view of Ragusa Ibla. Friendly and helpful staff. Great communication re parking nearby. Amazing buffet breakfast! Overall a very pleasant stay.

The location, the staff, the rooms, the wifi, the breakfast, the air conditioning, the property was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We will return.

This hotel had a lot of local charm. The breakfast room was absolutely beautiful and the buffet had a lot of choices. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The immediate area had a good amount of dining options.

Wonderful experience. We had 6 accommodations during our trip in Sicily, and this was by far the best of them. Clean, modern and elegant. Spacious and comfortable room. Nora was beyond helpful checking us in. She helped us get take out dinner from the restaurant adjacent to the hotel, and she let us eat in the breakfast room which was already set up for next morning's breakfast. She also served us drinks. A beautiful clean hotel with a remarkable staff and a very nice breakfast. Within walking distance of much of the main attractions in downtown. An added bonus was the gift of complementary tour train tickets upon arrival. Would absolutely stay here again. Very highly recommended.

This is a lovely working farm but with all the modern conveniences available. Room was comfortable with a beautiful view. The onsite restaurant has excellent food for both breakfast and dinner - didn't try lunch. Rossana was an excellent host in the restaurant in the evenings. A little village is around the corner if you wanted something a bit different. Enjoyed our stay here.

Amazing property - highly recommend the balcony room option that overlooks the olive trees! Perfect place to relax and unwind!

Great Staffs!

Two couples we were overcharged for water and wine. We ordered 1 bottle of wine each room was charged for a bottle and water was doubled on one room. Besides that it was a great experience. Loved the roof top
