An excellent little hotel next to cute cafes, it’s also a super easy walk from the bus and train stations that eliminates the need for a taxi. You’re probably wondering if you need to stay on the beach—you don’t! We enjoyed a nice little stroll through the streets & public squares each way, stopping for meals and shopping. Friendly staff. The hotel setting is one of a kind. It's a very old fortress that was converted to a beautiful 4 stars hotel. Everything was done to provide all the comfort you would expect from a luxurious hotel while maintaining the structure intact. It has great character and beautiful and tasteful decoration. The view from the windows is great as well. It is in a walking distance from all the attractions of this small town. The breakfast was superb as everything else in the hotel.
The hotel was great, excellent location close to the centre of the village and right on the beach. Rooms were roomy, staff excellent and the day spa was the big bonus. Unlimited use of the indoor pool which opened up onto the ocean beach.

Hotel St-Julian is the perfect way to experience the town and unique neighborhoods of Biarritz. Phillip and his wife are the best of host.
