"Awful room"

"Breakfast was nice and plentiful. Restaurant on property was nice as well. They have an incredible hamburger. I was quite impressed. The bartender was spot on with his cicktail making. Especially since i requested a drink NOT offered on their menu. Everything was Reasonably priced. Hotel has been nicely renovated. The rooms are appointed nicely and spacious. My only complaint at this property is no one ever cleaned my room. No fresh towels or clean linens. The 1st day, I did have the DND on my room door, but later changed it to "please clean," when I left... I returned around 3 hour later to an unclean room. Cleaning staff did return later, but at this time im was relaxing and didnt want to leave... Second day, I spoke directly to the cleaning lady, letting her know it was ok to do my room now.. which she acknowledged. I returned late that evening to the room uncleaned, again. Im not sure why this happened. I did inform the front desk to which they were apologetic. Overall the stay was nice."

"Nice staff and very understanding. However, some rooms need to be fixed. The noise during the day is painful. The breakfast is also a bit expensive, especially for someone who doesn't eat much during breakfast. Overall, it was a nice time (7/10)"

"I had an exceptional experience at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially the reception staff. The house keeping lady was so nice. I was totally amazed. Definitely will return and of course happy to recommend others. "

"Negatives: Housekeeping entered the room when we had the 'do not disturb' sign on the door. They also knocked the door on the last day at 11.15am and said we should've already left but we had arranged for a late checkout. We were only there for 4 nights so to have this happen on 2 occasions wasn't great. The reception staff didn't always greet/acknowledge the guests as they passed. The teabags are awful, bring your own! Breakfast was the same every morning. It would've been nice to mix it up a bit. Positives: One of the reception staff was excellent when we were checking in (Colin). He was extremely helpful and friendly, even when we requested to change rooms. The room was lovely and clean. Surprisingly very little noise from the planes and it was interesting to watch them and the nearby Dart from our window. We would definitely stay again. The rooms were good, breakfast is included. Parking is extra (£12 per day). It was very central for all the things we wanted to do and see."
