Really great spa and pool, room, and food. Some important details: no spa admission after 8 pm, it reopens at 10 in the morning. Restaurant kitchen closes after 8 pm too, but they still serve drinks and charcuterie. Some staff spoke English and it was helpful because the receptionist did not. Also the credit card machine at the reception wouldn't process Hotels.com charges in dollars (but the restaurant's card reader can do it)

This hotel is a small, family run hotel that is very lovely and restored so beautifully. The hotel is roomy, quiet, and a wonderful stay. Don't expect a lot of service extras, as reception has only a few hours a day, but they are available in case of emergencies. If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil get away, this is a perfect place. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had variety from day to day as well. Highly recommend.

One could tell that in its heyday, this was a very busy place. But still holding on and very nice. Nothing fancy, but everything was clean and well maintained. The food was fantastic-one of the best meals I've ever had.
