This is a superb place to stay, especially with a dog. I traveled with a well-behaved 20 lb terrier, and the beds were comfortable, the water was hot and plentiful in the shower, and most of all, the grounds and proximity to hiking trails made it worthwhile. The food in the restaurant from breakfast to dinner was outstanding. I would come back here in a heartbeat. Just one suggestion, my bathroom was a little cramped and I was really missing a full-length mirror somewhere in the room. A very...

We loved this hotel. We had a bit of a time finding it, but we were really happy with the stay there. The breakfast had EVERYTHING and was very good. I really loved the parlor off the bedroom; I did not expect to have a second room. It had a couch, table, shelf unit and television. It was perfect for watching TV and not disturbing someone sleeping! The proprietors were so friendly and helpful; we really liked them.
