"Good old-style hotel, very pleasant. Slept well, the family room was decent and quiet. Breakfast good, just a bit of bad luck as two tour groups flooded the room same time as us. Location very central, and we had no issue to park right in front."

Meals however let it down ...I had mixed grill for dinner steak was so tough couldn't eat it ..and breakfast was 'difficult' ... everything seemed to run out and took some time to be replenished... I'd certainly stay again ...just would eat there"

"We had a lovely welcome, a very pleasant stay for the stop over night we were there. Clean room with everything you needed. Breakfast selection was good, though would have liked to have the option of a Scottish breakfast to complete the experience."
