"It is electronic entry so we only so staff when they delivered our breakfast to the room in the morning. There are plenty of options close by for evening meal. Parking is close by at the harbour as you cannot stop outside the guest house as it is on the corner of the main road."

"We were very pleased with this property. Spacious and well equipped. Lovely welcome package and cosy warm on arrival. It had everything we needed and was central for what we wanted to do. Parking was easy and convenient. We would definitely recommend 1 Marine Place for a perfect stay on Bute"

"We stayed at the Kames while exploring the area which is so beautiful. The hotel is ideally situated in an idyllic setting. The food was superb, especially the homemade steak pie! The Scottish Breakfast is the best we've tasted. Highly recommend this hotel."
