"Decor here was very outdated however we enjoyed our stay here for the following reasons; The bed here was very comfortable. The bar area located by the reception desk had fabulous views of the mountains. And generally the hotel had a warm & cosy feel about it."

"Lovely location, room was a bit tired but clean. Immediate grounds needed a bit of attention and was overgrown in parts, but the wider surrounding area is beautiful. Waitress who served us for dinner was really friendly and breakfast was good. Would recommend as a place to stay but it could do with a bit of upgrading."

"Such a unique place to stay, and exactly what I wanted. It’s built on stilts into the side of a hill, just above a fabulous Inn. Walking distance (400m ish) from Lochawe train station. It’s not a hotel, so for the nightly cost if you want a hotel this isn’t it. But the view and location if you want to be at peace, in nature with the most incredible views and backdrop, this is it. Very comfortable beds, quiet, fantastic warm shower. Everything we needed (and I’d packed things expecting it to be basic). Tracey would super helpful when I contacted her before our stay. Didn’t need any help when there. We will come back."

"The photos did not match the room we got! The staff were great. The location was perfect. The room… a bit scary; in desperate need of a renovation. Maybe some rooms look like the advertising but our certainly did NOT!"

"Situated out front is the most beautiful views with glorious sunsets to be seen. There is a bus stop under 5mins walk to take you into Oban for only £2. The food menu is great. Recommend the muscles absolutely beautiful."
