Now this was totally unexpected. I am originally from Pernitz, about 20 or so km from Wiener Neustadt, but live in Los Angeles. These apartment houses (more than one building, but they are next to each other) are in a beautiful area, and well kept. The owners live in one of the houses (which also serves as Reception and where they serve breakfast). The 6 apartments they have are nicely decorated, have style and are well equipped. WE wee in Gloggnitz for a anniversary reunion. The Hubertushof is out in the middle of nowhere but fit the bill wonderfully. Country charm. Doubt that I will every be able to return, but should you need a hotel in central east Austria you can't do better.
Restaurant is excellent too.
This was our first family outing outside of Vienna and they were extremely friendly, the location has spectacular views and hiking and walking trails. The natural pool was a nice blend with the surroundings. The available bikes, ping pong, tennis, horseback riding is a lot more than an 11 yr old boy can dream of. Highly recommended.
