The property is beautiful. Private yard and pool. Super well-maintained. Amazing view from living area upstairs. Think ahead for food; we arrived on a Sunday in mid-May and all the markets and most of the restaurants were closed. No dining facilities on site and don’t plan on “walking into town”, as it’s about 1.5 km away and it’s a steep uphill on the way back. Communication had challenges. On the eve of my departure for Greece, I received an email with check-in instructions all in Greek...

We were looking for an intermediate stop between Meteora and Athens, and chose Aidipsos because it was on the water. Evia Bay is a small hotel with very nice rooms and friendly proprietors who shared local knowledge on restaurants and pointed us to the hot springs right on the beach in town, where in mythology Hercules went to recover after battles. Overall great stay, beautiful sunset and a place we would stay longer for relaxation if we had the time.
