We got to the hotel late and they was having a plumbing issue. They apologized several times about the water being off due to this issue. They put us on the second floor away from the noise of them working. The new owner made sure we was ok with everything. We got up the next morning and water was fixed. We had a decent breakfast and the staff was wonderful. I spoke with a few different staff members and they were all very nice and helpful. We have stayed here before and will stay again!!

This was an excellent place to stay! My wife and I drove down from Cleveland to do some antiquing before New Years Eve and it is in a perfect location. This historical home is very well maintained and the attention to detail is fantastic. The bed was amazing and slept better here than we did at home! Ron, the owner, was a pleasure to have conversations with throughout our stay. He truly is a genuine man and could not have asked for a better stay. Will plan to stay again in the summer. Overall the stay was good. One reason I can't say great is because it is under going remodeling which is a good thing. Our rooms didn't seem to be updated yet. We had one suite and one standard room. We stayed for 4 nights and the beds were never made up in the room with the suites. I wasn't staying in that room. I wasn't told from the family members that were staying in that room that the beds were not being made up daily until the last night. I did not address it with the hotel. I am...
