"This is a no-frills inn. The room was very clean, and the owner was very nice and helpful. The room was very cold (it was cold and rainy when we arrived) and we could not find any heat source. Called the owner who instructed us to move the table between the two beds and the heater was in the wall. Once we moved the table, the heater put out great heat. This was a basic room, but clean, warm and dry, and at a very reasonable price. There was a small fridge and coffee pot in the room."

"Staff was amazing as usual. The room was cleaner than previous stays. I stay here every time I am in Rocky Mount. The only complaint I have is with the shower! The hot and cold is backwards and could be extremely dangerous and needs addressed before someone is scalded! I turned the hot water on and let it run for several minutes and it never got hot so I messed with it then realized that when I turned it to cold it got very hot very fast! If someone was to get into this shower first THEN turn the water on, it could end up bad. Thankfully, I get my water to temp before getting in the shower! THIS NEEDS FIXED IMMEDIATELY!!"

The room I stayed in was very clean, with obviously new flooring, bed, bathroom, and paint. Very function, and nice. Felt safe and secure. The overall property is clean, though dated due to its obvious historical motel/hotel site. Great stay for the price."
