"Came here to say thank you the most understanding staff at merrivile. After series of unfortunate events we were stuck in the hotel with no food power or transportation after a tornado. These couple of days the staff helped us make the kids feel safe and secured so they barely even noticed."

"The breakfast was great and we enjoyed the lake view. Didn’t get a chance to do much else because of the storm and the loss of electricity. That was the only reason we left early. We would definitely stay there again."

"We had a comfortable stay at the Furness Mansion. Very close to Indiana Dunes National Park and also nearby points of interest. The unit is spacious with free use of washer & dryer located at the entrance of the building. The only thing negative is the response time from the hosts. I sent a couple of messages and never received a response. My inquiries were not critical but a simple response would have been nice as a courtesy."

"Felt the property could have been very good. It has a super cool setting and rooms over the water was fun. However the room was not so good. It needs better cleaning protocols."

"Good value for this hotel. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast included scrambled eggs and sausage as well as waffles and cold items. Not too far of I-94 so it was much less expensive to stay in Michigan City than closer to Chicago."
