Hotels in Evergreen

I had asked for a ground floor room but when my husband checked in they gave him a second floor room. I have a slight mobility issue but can manage stairs if I take it slow enough. I asked the clerk where the elevator was and she said they didn't have one. I made a comment about how I had asked for a ground floor room but oh well. I've stayed in four- and five-star hotels many times, and I was surprised that the rooms in this hotel compared favorably. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've ever encountered. The pillows and especially the duvets were plush and soft. It was great to have a personal mini-fridge and microwave in our room. We enjoyed late-night hot snacks and cold drinks throughout our stay. Staff was very nice and hotel was very clean. They really stressed their "no smoking in room" policy and the rooms smelled clean and fresh.
