Sandpoint Hotel & Suites Downtown
8/10 Good
"My room was very comfortable and had a nice large king bed. The bathroom had some visible mold in it around the bathtub. Unfortunately, I had a loud couple above me who were fighting until 1:30AM, so my sleep was affected. Not necessarily the hotels fault and I should have probably reported the nuisance."

"Everything about our stay was awesome. Our room was exactly how it was pictured on the website. It was clean and comfortable with lots of room. We were travelling with friends so we got the suite that had a table and chairs so that we could visit and play games. When we checked in, Logan at the front desk switched our friend’s room so that they were right across the hall from us. We stayed 3 nights and every staff member we saw were friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast each morning was great and it was different each time which was as added bonus. Fruit was fresh, food was hot and staff was always checking to make sure the food was plentiful. This has been one of the best hotels we have stayed in and would certainly stay again if we come back. Absolutely awesome!!!"

"Lovely newer facility that has amazingly well laid out floor plans, comfy beds, spacious rooms and bathrooms. Front desk had the friendliest staff and check-in was a breeze. The breakfast was good with a little of everything. Great stay!"

"The room i stayed in was pretty good especially for the price. The rooms have been remodeled and are what the photos show. Pro: everything is pretty much new. Liked that there was a kitchen and full fridge with microwave, sink and stove. Bathroom was really nice too (you will need to use the kitchen sink to wash hands as theres no bathroom sink) and bed was pretty comfortable. The area is overall pretty quiet (besides the cars on the road). The area is also very pretty and you can see alot of the Idaho mountains from your window. Cons: its near the highways and the rooms are incredibly thin. I could hear everything my neighbor was doing from moving around, slightly coughing and grabbing things from the fridge. You can hear every car pass on the highway, and alot of semis pass by. There is a noise machine in the room but I decided against using it so that is on me but something to be aware about. The floors are also really creaky so I had to be careful where I walked so I didn't bother my downstairs neighbor. Also my bed frame was incredibly squeaky. It squeaked everytime i moved slightly in the bed. :( Since it is right off the main road it can be a bit of a hassle to get in and out of the hotel parking lot. Overall these are very very minor inconveniences and they cant control the cars on the road. So I dont want to deduct points on that."
