OMG! Amazing stay. Shane and Nicki were wonderful hosts. The breakfast, so very good. The home is historic and they are willing to share the history of the house. Highly recommend booking with them.
We enjoyed our stay... many animals and the Hummingbirds were so delightful and relaxing to watch.

This property is amazing! It’s in a great location and the staff is excellent. Everyone was very friendly and service oriented. The room was great and sparkling clean. There is off street parking as well. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. If I am ever in the area again, I will stay again.
We checked in very late and they gave us the bed and breakfast that is across the street from their main house. They let us have use of the entire house. They were so very accommodating...we were in awe. I would highly recommend The Aerie Bed and Breakfast to anyone. I have stayed at several 5 star facilities and it deserved 5 stars all around.

The hotel is within walking distance of historic areas, shops, and restaurants. There is a nice park right next to the hotel. We wish we had discovered the river walk to town sooner--it is an attraction in itself. The only improvement needed is a more varied menu for the hotel bistro--especially for vegetarians. Overall, a wonderful place to stay--we would definitely return!
We celebrated our 13th anniversary in New Bern, NC and stayed in the Josephine room at Meadows Inn. The trip was wonderful and the Meadows Inn, a dream. We arrived midday on Saturday and were graciously allowed to check in upon arrival. We arrived very late, 12:30 AM, and were greeted by Felicia, the warmest, genuine, empathetic welcome. I was so impressed that after I parked, I brought my mom to the front desk just to meet Felicia. We were in town for a funeral and had traveled the whole way in heavy rain.

Very nice, well appointed house. Bed was a little soft, but overall property was excellent. We saw a couple bugs but the owners addressed this quickly.
