Although entering the large parking lot was not the best to look at pavement-wise, the buildings, grounds, pool area and rooms were beautiful. The landscaping was well done and well taken care of, with beautiful flowers and shrubbery. Plenty of outside seating areas around the pool and in other areas were available. We stayed at the Dansford because we were attending a bridal shower there. A unique hotel with a marina and a ferry coming next door, a lovely view. The staff was very friendly a helpful.
The Dansford has a lot of character. It is old but not at all rundown. Our room was on the third floor with no elevator so you might want to ask for a first floor room if that will be a problem.
This is a lovely, modern hotel. We found our stay to be very relaxing and we enjoyed the fun high tech features in the room. We would definitely stay here again!
Was great with exception if packaged food breakfast. We donβt eat lots if carbs so we did not eat any of it. The bottle water was good as we were headed to Newport.

First time we had stayed at this facility. Front desk staff was outstanding and took action to make us feel very welcome. Maid service could have been better since they only came in 2 of the four days that we were guests. Had to ask the front desk for a replacement for the tissue box.
Front desk folks (Irene Reyes especially) went out of their way to make us feel welcome and secure a wheelchair for my wife during the entire stay.
