I stayed here for Mardi Gras weekend 2023 as this was the cheapest option I could find. I did not feel I sacrafied anything tho. The Algeris Ferry is about 20 minutes away with free parking around the streets so if anything I saved a lot by staying here and on this side of the river. They just reopened Dec 30th. Everything has been redone. No complaints. The staff was so friendly m. It was safe! They always had someone to buzz you in. Although this is not a complaint but if you have trouble going up stairs request a lower level room. We loved our room but after a long day of being out in New Orleans. The stairs were a killer. There is no elevators! Also the parking is first come first serve. It is a small lot. Luckily my husband and I got there early enough to get a parking...
