The hotel was clean except they forgot to check fridges..... the breakfast was great and they have a pool and hottub that we're very pleasant. The pool area was a little warm need to turn air on maybe but overal nice place to stay! Huge rooms!!
From the moment we arrived, Melissa greeted us. It was appreciated as we arrived later than expected. The rooms are clean and we had full control of the temperature. The location was perfect, we were walking distance from the casino, a scenic overview and a play lot for the kids. Breakfast was more than adequate with fresh Puck coffee. The staff was on top of the breakfast area, no one had to wait very long for warm food. Each room had it's own safe along with a refrigerator and microwave. ...

I liked the that the Buckhorn Grill was open. We had a 1pm thanksgiving meal with local family and it was nice to be able to get something to eat after 7pm.
My granddaughter and I stayed at Boarders for a week. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, we had nothing but positive experiences. It has a country atmosphere, it's cozy, and everyone was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Boarders as a place to stay while visiting Iowa. A big shout out to Daryll who was at the front desk when we checked in and for several of the evenings when we came back to our room in the evening. Daryll was always helpful and pleasant.
