Damai hotel was very nice and relaxing in a beautiful serene setting. Drinks and food at the hotel are first class but on the expensive side for Bali. The problem with the place is there is not much to do if you are there for a several days. The town of Lovina is small and it does not offer much of shopping or great restaurants. The beach is ugly and uninviting. Hotel is the nicest place to be. If you must come to this part of the island I recommend Damai hotel. However the over all experience...

This hotel is nestled in the Ubud Jungle. The property is beautiful and spacious. A real hidden gem. Personally, what made my stay memorable where the staff. They're attentive, kind, overall the best in hospitality. I'd happily return any chance I'd get. Perfect location for someone looking to escape the crowds. There are amazing waterfall tours you can take in Ubud. Keep in mind, Ubud is around 2hrs away from the airport with traffic but worth the stay.

During our first night there we had some issues with the air conditioner, which the staff tried to resolve straight away and kept on checking on during our whole stay to make sure that it was working fine and that we were comfortable. There is also a clinic on site which was very helpful as my mom fell sick during our trip and to make us feel right at home the hotel sent us a Get Well Soon bouquet to our room. Best experience of my life! This was my second time to visit the park, but this time I actually stayed at the Lodge as a guest. The first time I visited 5 years ago it was just for the day visit.
