"We arrived late at night, and checked out the same night. Room was tired and dusty. Was promised a hot spring bath but it was cold. We had booked for 5 nights, we asked for a refund for the nights we didn't stayand they have ignored all requests and messages, from ourselves."

"room clean, stuff sweet and helpful, good English. Nara park looks amazing, but be careful while feeding the deers. Those big male deers might be aggressive. One of them kept headbutting me while tryna get more food for me. Great location also, not even a mile awake from Nara park and near transit."

"Overall the best stay we had on our Japan trip. Shopping streets are close by and so is the Nara parks. The food was wonderful and the staff are amazing and very welcoming."

"Clean, very large hotel room, especially for Japan standards. Has entrance, bathroom, living area, drink/fridge area and sleeping area. Be careful at the entrance as the step when entering is very easy to trip over. Breakfast has both Japanese and western style foods. Western style foods was very small and limited. Reserving a table for breakfast was unorganized due to crowding at breakfast. Location: Less than 10 min from the main subway station and in the middle of the busy area of town. Would return! "

"Lovely room. Delightful location. Bowing deer right outside to greet you every morning. Usually with a headbutt for a cracker but it is lovely anyway. Such a pity that it is closing forever. Glad we got in two weeks before the end. It was a wonderful place to spend our final night in Japan. "

"Ver old-school and traditional way to experience Japan. The staff was amazing. Provided a free shuttle to get us there, welcomed us with tea and a relaxed check in. the room was ver traditional and the hot soaking pool was incredible. Very traditional japanese dinner of many course and items that was very good but a bit awkward as we had never had many of the dishes so initially were confused on what/how to eat things. Once we figured out the menu and order it became much easier."

"This is my second stay and honestly it’s my #1 recommendation for Japan. The Staff are wonderful. He was pretty fluent in English so no need to worry about a language barrier. The rooms are very clean. The lobby is a nice place to relax and even has a massage chair which is great after a hot bath. The location is perfect for exploring the area. It’s about a 6 minute walk from the train station. "

"The room is a bit old and need redecorations. Restaurant and spa are too crowded in my stay period. We have been overcharged the Carpark fee as we were required to pay at reception and carpark exits."
