will certainly stay there again if i'm down that way, it is well sited for beach and shops."
"Fantastic location just across from the sea. Lovely to have a fan provided in the room as, being on the top floor it did get quite warm. Good choice for dining and breakfast was ample. Simple food but well presented and on the whole tasted great! Rooms were pretty well equipped although could have made use of a chest of drawers. Plenty to do in the area. Thank you"
"The hotel defied all expectations. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble The views overlooked the boats and river make the whole stay v relaxing. The food was also excellent. Would definitely stay again"
"The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent in the restaurant. I would definitely stay here again. They have their own car park and lots of parking spaces."
"Had a really lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the location was great for exploring the area. A special thank you to Pam, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay and always made sure we had everything we needed for our days out. Alan, the owner, was also fantastic and gave us a warm introduction to the hotel when we arrived, which made us feel right at home straight away. Overall, a very pleasant stay and we would definitely return again."

If you can't wait to get to the beach, you might enjoy a trip to Southbourne Beach located 3.8 mi (6.2 km) from central Bournemouth. Catch the sunset by the shore at Hengistbury West Beach, just a short walk away.
Firstly we have stayed here before and had a wonderful experience. The property is old and consequently does not have that modern minimalistic feel to it. I think the beds could do with replacing as you can feel the springs through the mattress topper. The stairs are a challenge on par with climbing Snowden. So why did we come back? The Staff and ambience and the quality of the food and the feeling that you belong here and so welcomed. I love it. The patrons are warm and friendly and happy to...
Warm and welcoming couple, Carole and Andrew - he even helped with my luggage.,Loved location and their suggestions of where to dine. Room was cozy with beautiful linens . Had not visited IOW since a child over 60 years ago so loved everything - it did not disappoint . Breakfast was delightful with Bridget.
Would visit again.
This a small working farm with I believe 3 rooms at for the bed and breakfast. The building was build in 1740. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we even had a private bath. The owner was absolutely amazing, she was friendly accommodating gave us many suggestions to place to se in the area. My wife said she would come back to England just to stay here. We loved this place
Beautiful hotel/pub with a great location near the beach. The room was comfortable with all amenities and some lovely personal touches (the toiletries were excellent and the homemade chocolate treats were, well, a treat!) The food in the pub was also great. Will stay again!
Beautiful hotel and our room was elegant, clean, and very comfortable. Not to mention that unbelievable view. I’m very picky about hotel bathrooms and this one was amazing. Loved the dual shower with great water pressure. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Off the beaten track little gem of an hotel. Historic, local railway station forms site of today's hotel. Still has vintage rolling stock at platform.
Very friendly, warm welcome from all staff. Good restaurant, with varied menu.
Comfortable, clean rooms, with children and dog friendly grounds.
Lovely spacious room, good breakfast included, excellent scones and cake for Tea, good dinner restaurant, amazing location near the forest ponies, and bicycles for guests to use.
