Nitmiluk is well-known for its attractions such as Nitmiluk National Park and Katherine Gorge. This welcoming city has something for everyone including restaurants as well as sights like Edith Falls and Kakadu National Park. All are within a scenic setting.
The Chalet was fine and as was the food offered at the pool kiosk. The staff I encountered were all very friendly and helpful. I had a meal at the Cicada Lodge, which was excellent.
The room exceeded our expectations. Modern functional design, very new dishware and pants, well thought out setup and had everything one needed as we traveled through. Great shower and water pressure and high quality soaps and shampoos. The only thing I'd ask for is instructions to the induction stove top, that wasn't intuitive to sort out. Very very nice stay.
A great stay while in Katherine overnight. Great staff support, good food in restaurant, and on-site laundry helpful. Would recommend this location to others.
Room was very clean and breakfast was great. We didn't use the pool but quite a few were using it and it looked very nice. For being on the edge of the Outback, it was a great choice and value for the money.
