Coming at night without a GPS and limited German, the hotel staff was extremely helpful and in the end well coming with a hot chocolate. The hotel is attractive as long as you like traditional furnishings, but it comes with an extraordinary view over rolling fields, lovely terraces and with a small private wellness area, pool and sauna WITH and adjoining private Garden. Swim, Sauna and sun yourself or gaze at the moon while you cool down. I only ate breakfast there, which was a generous buffet...

Great hotel, excellent location right on the river, beautiful vew of the mountains, wonderful breakfast. Good restaurants nearby, or 5 miles down the road is Rudeshime with even more places to eat and see. Very friendly and helpful staff. We spend three nights there and didn't want to leave.

Karrenberg was just what we needed after the larger cities. We had rented an auto so it's remote location was more than worth it. The free breakfast buffet would make any room price a bargain. The restaurant prices are more than reasonable for the amount and quality of food served. In one month of travels we had our absolutely meals there. The menu is German only but our two best dishes were the "bacon wrapped checken" and a pork dish listed under "Karrenberg Favorites". The beef dish was...

One night stay in the single room, great price, friendly staff, complimentary shuttle to airport. Perfect for location, will stay again with the over night lay over.

Breakfast was great. In a great spot and fun things close by. Parking was easy and right near hotel .

The room was beautiful and the staff could not have been nicer. It is a quiet little town with easy access to the path to Burg Eltz, but I would stay here again even if not hiking to the castle. Highly recommended.
