We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Hirsch overall and would consider staying there again if we were going to be in the area. The front of the building reminds me of something out of a Wes Anderson film, and the inside is equally cute and comfortable with an updated, yet traditional Bavarian feel. This hotel is great!! It's rustic and charming with spectacular views. We had a family room and it's the most spacious room we've stayed in Europe. The room had a wonderful view, nice patio and super comfy beds. We came in summer and are looking forward to coming back in winter and bringing our dog. As a chef, I need to mention the restaurant - it was outstanding and delicious! You can tell there are talented chefs in the kitchen based on how tasty the food is and how well it is plated....
