This place was so relaxing and comfortable for the one night stay we did. The resturant was amazing and the only issue we had was some loud guests late night especially as this is a very quite and calm place.
This hotel is near Luebeck but is definitely situated in the country. So, it would be perfect for visiting, and then retreating from this World Heritage city. It would also be great if you had time to relax and just sit in the garden or enjoy the countryside. This was a bit of a wild card for us. No interest in skiing but the hotel was amazing. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Complimentary bottle of wine and two small bottles of water. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety. Would definitely recommend to all. You don’t need to ski!!!
It was superb and quite a surprise! The room was very large and the dinner was superb! Since we have visited several other German towns and the food could not compare with theirs. The service and hospitality was extra special.
The location is excellent. Across the street from a greenway and just a couple of minutes easy walk from the Mulenbrucke and pedestrian bridge next to that to one of the main restaurant streets in the old town. The hotel is old, but spacious, comfortable and well maintained. I needed to do some emailing after checking out and was able to sit in a quiet space with tables. Extremely good value.
