hotel was convenient to family we were visiting. easy access to bus station into the town and shops by the lake rooms were clean but not great / towels were not always replaced. shower in tub was a little slippery and no handle to hold on the wall/ nice view of the lake from balcony

The Berliner Hof was in an excellent location, one block from the Hauptbahnhof and central bus station, with many restaurants nearby. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff very helpful. I had to take a bus to the Hamburg airport at 5AM, well before the dining room was open for breakfast. However, the evening before they asked if I would like to take a lunch box the next morning, and I said two pieces of bread and a piece of cheese and a bottle of water would be fine.
