"Great outdoor pool (should be open until 10pm) and spa area. (indoor pool, hot-tub, different saunas, steam rooms etc.) Property needs some renovations for the rooms (very outdated and worn out) AND an Air Conditioner! It's not okay to put in a tiny little fan to keep the warm air around?! I mostly enjoyed my stay (because I know this hotel/restaurant) but I would not recommend to family and friends. "Be aware that the hotel reception close down at 19:00 and if you haven’t checked-in by then you have to find another place to stay. I travel a lot but rarely see this rigid routine. Normally there is an option to collect your key in a coded box or something after the reception is closed. But okay, fair enough, it’s my mistake to not follow these rules. But no card payment in 2025?! That’s a big drawback which easily can be fixed. You leave it to your guests to spend 30 minutes to find an ATM...

"Clean room, worth the stay when passing through. If anything - pillows a little bit to big and hard. Staff was kind, all positive at the arrival and check-in but would sometimes disappear (other work tasks?) and people needed to wait sometimes at the reception for help. Need to be prepared for being able to give more food suggestions if visitors want to go and eat somewhere. Location good, parking spot / area securely behind. Never tried the breakfast

breakfast. Spacious room with nice courtyard view. No air con or fan so room really quite hot at night - windows open meant heard a group of older folk sitting outside and talking loudly around 11.30pm (for quite some time!). Personal choice - would have liked a fridge and TV: appreciate the heritage but if there’s USB sockets, a few more modern amenities could be possible …Hotel in good location - easy walk to sites. Parking behind hotel OK - 5 Euro daily...
