All the staff are professional and helpful. I requested Chang the room after the first night and they immediately responded and gave me a special one with larger window. The breakfast were rich and include whatever you like including fresh fruits and cereals ... etc. I used a rented car to go to the old town and to the thee parts of the city. if you enjoy the nature it's the finest place to stay in Regensburg area.

My husband and I started a cycling trip out of Regensburg and 'bookended' the trip by staying at the Green Spirit Hotel at the beginning and end of our cycling. Amazing location and staff. Room was small but typical for Europe. The only reason I gave 4* to comfort was because there is no elevator and 1 of the footboards wasn’t attached. We have been to twenty cities in eleven countries over the last two months... sometimes charm and character are over rated. In this hotel everything works, there are power outlets where you want them, the walls and windows are well insulated and soundproof, the shower has great water pressure and there is a reasonable amount of storage. Sure it may look more like an IKEA catalog than a castle, but on that particular day, that was a blessing.

Clean smallish simple rooms, decor is a bit too baroque for my taste though. The hotel is pretty big so expect some annoying longer walks if you carry your own bags. The hotel has some nice Spa facilities, some of which can be used at no extra cost. Surroundings are nice, lovely landscaping, everything is pretty quiet and relaxed. This hotel is more geared towards the (older) Spa crowd. Breakfast is some of the BEST breakfast I have ever had at a hotel and is usually included in room price.
