Breakfast was fabulous! Staff was great.

The landlord and his staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet excellent. The town is a wonderful place to stay even in the middle of February. The historic town of Cochem situated on the river Mosel in the middle of the hilly vineyards is absolutely pretty. The castle spectacular! You should definitely book a tour through the castle. We spent 1 month in 7 countries and Mosella Inn and the surrounding area was the best of all! Great food, very clean, the staff was very helpful. Of all the hotels this was the only one that did not provide soap in the bathrooms.

So friendly, so nice. Restaurant has excellent food with impecable service. Definitely returning next year for longer.

The restaurant is fabulous!! The best breakfast we had in our 2 weeks in Europe! Our room was comfortable and spotless!

The room was beautiful and the staff could not have been nicer. It is a quiet little town with easy access to the path to Burg Eltz, but I would stay here again even if not hiking to the castle. Highly recommended.

One night stay in the single room, great price, friendly staff, complimentary shuttle to airport. Perfect for location, will stay again with the over night lay over.

Very helpful personnel and great free breakfast

After two nights at the Maerchen Hotel we decided to extend one night, and they were very accommodating. We stayed in two different rooms--both with very different arrangements and decor--decidedly charming.. The fairy tail theme was used throughout--but was discreet and not over the top. We ate all three nights in the hotel--all great meals. The personalized service by the helpful, bilingual staff was very nice..

This is a lovely, beautiful, sparkling hotel. The restaurant is great. Dinner was a bit of a surprise as there's a distinct Asian touch to many dishes. The breakfast buffet is one of the most extensive I've seen. The rooms are huge, bathroom large, everything is clean and stylish. I especially liked the common lounge area with chairs and honor wine bar. It's in a small town away from the Mosel, but looks out to the vineyards on the hillside. Staff is great. I can highly recommend this hotel.

I had an excellent stay at the Rosenhugel in June. The owner/hosts Hildegard & Monika were very friendly and considerate. My train was delayed and I arrived after check in time, but Monika arranged for self check in with a key card which was perfect. The included breakfast was hearty and very fresh and all of the staff greet the guests with a warm Guten Morgen! each day. The views of the town and schloss across the Mosel river were fantastic, especially at sunset. I would defintly stay here...
