Expect but not only was the hotel lovely, the staff was the kindest and most accommodating I have ever experienced! They delivered food to my room when I was under the weather even though room service is not a service they provide. Don’t think twice about booking this hotel!
We loved our night here! The hotel was really clean and in a fun location. Our room was in the basement but had a nice walk out patio. The town was beautiful and very quiet. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the fantastic selection of food.
I left a couple of items of clothing in the wardrobe which the staff found but hotel staff will not send it to me even after I offered to pay all expenses to do so. Very disappointed to find the items are there but can't retrieve them.
It was a nicely maintained property with up to date facilities. I did not like the set up of the room. The headboard was near a slanted roof. I was afraid I was going to get up in the middle of the night and bump my head so I slept with my head at the foot of the bed.
I recommend getting a room in the main building if possible. I was in a side building with no elevator, and with some physical issues I had, it was difficult to carry my bags. The restaurant was excellent, and known for its grilled beef dishes. The hotel is conveniently located for bicycling along and into the nearby hills. It's also conveniently located for hiking.
