Upon entering, the staff was great and very helpful. Check In was a snap, they provided a secure space for our bikes. In addition the staff provided details about he area that proved to be beneficial to our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable and had a large bathroom. The breakfast the following morning was delicious and filling and provided us a great start to our new days journey along the is Rhona bike path. Thanks to all the staff for a great stay.

The hotel was hard to find, looked a little run down on the outside even though you could tell it must have had a glorious past situated centrally on the river bank. Right away this triggered my imagination and thoughts went to the Rocky Horror Show, The Adams Family etc. It was even hard to find the entrance, which I found refreshingly enjoyable. This was not a predictive cookie cutter Best Western, Novotel or similar bla-ha experience awaiting. My girlfriend and I found a possible entrance on...
