This is a great hotel we can't say enough positive things about this hotel. It was such a great experience, Regis the owner was a very gracious host and can help with just about anything We can't wait to go back the hotel made our vacation absolutely the best, we didn't want to leave. This is my second time at this lovely hotel. The owners are hands on and it shows in the care. The location, with views of the Loire, is breathtaking, I stayed in one of the rooms with Loire view and highly recommend. There is parking for a small fee and an excellent morning buffet as well that you should consider. Five stars!
The staff were friendly, the area very walkable and the room was beautiful! Breakfast was also very good. We would absolutely stay again but next time for longer!
The property is wonderful and we had the best stay. We didn’t want to leave. The property is a period building that’s been beautifully restored. Our room was spacious and warm. Our bed so comfortable we didn’t want to get up. The host spoilt us for the entire duration of our stay. We will be staying again!!

My two sons and I were biking the Loire Valley trail and picked this hotel for Saumur. They were wonderful to us with the bikes (stored in a locked garage next to the hotel) and the staff was more than happy to suggest restaurants and areas to go. The room itself was very small for having 2 queen beds - we could barely walk around the foot of the bed. We had no suitcases just saddle bags - I'm not sure how a large suitcase would work. I don't recall an elevator so if you have heavy bags request...
very quiet location. no restaurant so we had to go into the village. sign said breakfast available at 0630, but the owner would not serve until 0800 and we had to leave without. We suspect too little business to make it worthwhile.
