Got upgraded to large, carpeted room that was a joy. great place, very helpful and dinner on site was from heaven. Should be Michelin starred if it isn't, at least 1 maybe 2, just superb food.
I am so happy to have found this place, amazingly priced in a historic renovated property, spotlessly clean and comfortable, as well as quiet and well-located. What made the stay even better are the lovely couple running the bed and breakfast, who go above and beyond with hospitality, communication, and their genuine friendliness and willingness to help and share their knowledge. Nice restaurants within driving distance, but not walking district. Hotel located in what has become over the years a somewhat industrial area. Originally, it was in the countryside.
Iris and BJ were wonderful hosts. In advance of our visit we communicated about our diet (vegan family) and they were able to provide us a nice breakfast every morning. We visited the area during warm weather and the swimming pool ended up being a refreshing part of our stay during the late afternoon hours.
Wonderful, beautifully restored canal-side hotel with quirky artifacts and decor. Super-friendly host welcomed us and helped us to check in before directing us where to go to the medieval castle. We were provided with a list of recommended restaurants for the evening. Breakfast the following morning was superb, served in a lovely courtyard.
Lovely hotel in the walled city of Carcassone. Great setup for parking since you can't park in the city. They have a special parking lot where you leave your car and they have car service to pickup you and your luggage and deliver you to the hotel. Private event in their dining room when we were there but they made reservations for us in a lovely restaurant a few door down (Comte Roger) and was one of the best of our trip. Lots of restaurants and shops within the walled city. Great...
Wonderful quiet hotel with a beautiful courtyard. Perfect for families, couples, and larger groups. We were there with our daughters and we really loved our stay. The room was incredibly quiet, with separate AC units in each bedroom, separate TV, and fast internet. The breakfast is just amazing: great variety of great, homemade, food. We had dinner at the restaurant below the rooms and the food was really good and very reasonably priced.
