An incredible property; inside and out. Immaculately cleaned and decorated. The gardens near the pool were the perfect spot to drink champagne and enjoy the weather. My family loved this ancient chateau (medieval, with 17th and 18th century additions). The location was perfect, next to a little village with medieval church, artisanal bakery, and general grocery store for picnic supplies. Our room was huge, with a view over the moat, modernized bathroom, and even a small maid's room tucked up a tiny staircase. The breakfast in the main chateau was great, with local cheeses, jams, etc, and the dinner in the Orangerie was an experience worthy of a Michelin star...
