There’s no restaurant at the hotel but there are plenty within fifteen minute drive including a Michelin/starred Japanese restaurant you’ll need to book well in advance Otherwise Norah’s gardens are idyllic with egg-laying chickens wandering around occasionally chased by a dog or a granddaughter and fruit from the orchard that grandmother uses to make jam that is served at breakfast…like a location for a French movie

The room had comfortable beds, a good heating/cooling system, convenient free parking, in a quiet neighborhood.

This was a wonderful place. I would have made this a destination rather than a quick overnight into France. The building is charing and historic but with nicely updated rooms, comfortable beds and bedding, and lovely farm views. The breakfast was wonderful. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. The setting is serene and beautiful. And the whole stay was very affordable.

Yannick’s place truly surprised us. He thought of every little thing, every detail. Our room had coffee/tea, a welcome board with your name, a welcome snack, some candies, water in the room. There’s also snacks and drinks you can purchase for a fair price. There’s also bathrobes & house slippers should you need them. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hôtel Littéraire Stendhal (with air conditioning thankfully). Our room was built directly adjacent to the Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l'Annonciation et Saint-Sigisbert. In fact, our hotel featured part of the exterior facade with two 18th-century baroque cherubs on our "wall." The staff and service was superb.
