If you are looking for an authentic rustic experience in the Madonie area, this is the place. It is to the Petralie, Castelbuono and the Madonie mountains and is therefore a great base for exploring. We’d found the lodging by chance as we were driving across the island. The owner met us in front of the home at 10pm, all smiles, and in the room we found every conceivable amenity from ear plugs to toiletries. Clean and delightful. The breakfast the next morning was set up for the two of us with place settings, fruit, a cake that was a local specialty, meats, cookies, and she even made us farm fresh eggs. Amazing! A nice surprise after a long journey.

This hotel was set right on the water with a private beach, kayaks, and paddle boat. Our room was very large, and all the rooms have their own balcony. The hotel is very quiet because nobody is above or below you in another room. It's so easy to drive into Cefalu and park, and the hotel has its own parking lot. The breakfast was fine, rather basic, but overall, we loved the setting right on the ocean and would happily stay again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This horribly amazing resort will ruin every other hotel or the rest of you life. Nothing will match up. This great disaster of a hotel has sicking views, disgustingly polite staff, food that you won’t stop eating and an overall aura of euphoria that will leave you in shaking withdrawals upon checkout. My relationship will surely suffer and end soon... my girlfriend will expect this sort of treatment on all vacations moving forward, I could never duplicate. We also cried pool...
