The motel is in a wonderful pretty position, the newly done up rooms were a treat. However as you arrived the unkept grounds where a shambles as compared with the previous owner who took much pride in everything looking meticulously green and mowed,
So much to say about this amazing place! Let’s get the worse out of the way first. Of course being as old as it is the place is a living time capsule so not everything is brand new. And it fine. Ok now for all the best things. THE amazing staff, super friendly and helpful. Smack bang in the middle of town, 30sec walk to IGA, 2min walk to woolies and BWS. Not to mention just a couple of blocks from the amazing Golden Sea Dragon Chinese Restaurant. A Coona must!
Staff were greatnand welcoming - travelling with a little dog (moodle) and paid for him prior to arriving, but had to pay again on arrival. That was an little disappointing, and the room wasnt too comfortable. Had to remove the bedspread, dog wouldn't stop smelling it, and it looked dirty. Didn't feel comfortable in the room amd left early.
Newly renovated, plenty of hot water and a very comfy bed the essentials. Decor was modern and extremely functional additional seating, plenty of space for suitcase and hanging, microwave, tea making facilities with fresh milk! Continental breakfast included which is great as the location is not walking distance to town. The Star Gazing activity was 2 doors up in the park and was fabulous so location was great for that. I would stay here again
